April 21 and 22, 2021
Following the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, our second and fully virtual Wellness Summit came at a time when people needed connection more than ever. Tailored around inclusive culture and psychological safety, we explored how mental health can impact and shape wellness in the workplace. Attendees learned how feelings of isolation and loneliness can lead to mental health issues and gained action-oriented self-management strategies to impact mood, thoughts and behaviours to enhance employee mental health. By recognizing how inclusive leadership supports employee well-being and performance, employers can use a human-centred approach to work and innovate in a health and wellness setting.
