Dr. Lisa Ross-Rodriguez, director in Occupational Health and Safety Prevention Services for the Ministry of Labour and Immigration, is responsible for facilitating collaborations with a focus on program and policy development, research and surveillance. With an M.Sc. and PhD in medical sciences from the University of Alberta, she has more than 20 years of experience in health and medical sciences, including eight years of experience in injury, illness and disease prevention with the Government of Alberta. As a member of the Alberta Wellness Network since 2015, she is passionate about building a positive workplace culture and is interested in information sharing to drive evidence-informed decisions for occupational disease and injury prevention.
